WPA Posters ~ A Year of Good Reading

The WPA was an ambitious New Deal program to put people to work. Those jobs ranged from huge buildings and public works projects to the arts. The WPA was in action from 1935 to 1943.

The artwork included posters for public entities such as libraries and theaters.
